Therefore, this study aimed to discover the extent to which the application of sustainability concepts was taken into account in the urban planning phase of the Rahbat Al-Ajla residential investment project in the city of Benghazi. To achieve its purposes, it adopted a case study approach, and concluded with a number of results, the most important of which is that the current reality of the Rahbat Al-Ajla residential complex reflects the lack of application of the concepts Sustainability at its urban planning stage.
